THP working wreck on E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy

Tennessee Highway Patrol reports one person is dead and three others were injured after a wreck along East Lamar Alexander Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 3:30 P.M. where 321 intersects with Harmon Road.
According to THP's accident report, 39-year old Gregory T. Lawson of Maryville was driving northbound on Highway 321 in his Nissan FKX, when his vehicle crossed the center line. Lawson struck a second vehicle, a Nissan XSC, in the opposite lane, sending that vehicle off the road.
The driver of the XSC, 71-year old Dean Key, died in the accident. She was a Maryville resident. Two passengers in the vehicle were injured. They are 59-year old Terry Ogle and 35-year old Jason Ogle. Both Ogle's are residents of Walland.
Lawson was also injured. THP reports he was driving on a suspending license, and charges are pending.
All four people were wearing their seatbelt at time of the crash.
(WBIR - Maryville) East Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville reopened shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday after it was closed because of a crash.
Blount County dispatchers told 10News two cars were involved. The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed it is the primary agency working the scene.
The Blount County Sheriff's Department, Blount County Fire and the Blount County Rescue Squad were also on scene.
Authorities shut down both sides of E. Lamar Alexander Parkway temporarily while working the incident.
