Hundreds of residents in North Knox County woke up with no power Thursday morning after a tree knocked down power lines.

This morning around 5:00 a.m. a tree fell near the intersection of Rifle Range Road and Hubert Bean Road.  It knocked out power to more than 1,700 residents in that area.

KUB says that it could take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to get the road cleared and a new utility pole and line back up.
