Opry Mills has issued a statement condemning Gerrit Greiert, the
21-year-old who allegedly took lewd photos of young boys in a mall
"Opry Mills will not tolerate this type of criminal
behavior," said Jad Murphy, mall general manager. "The safety of our
shoppers and employees is our top priority."
The statement also praised the work of Metro police and mall security.
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man who, they say, admitted to photographing young boys in an Opry Mills restroom.

Sunday when he saw Gerrit Greiert reach over the stall wall and begin
taking pictures with his cell phone, according to court records.
The father confronted Greiert and took his phone before calling police.
searched the phone and found photos of two young boys with their
genitals exposed in the bathroom, Greiert's arrest warrant said. Greiert
admitted to taking the photos.
One of those boys was the 10-year-old; the other has not been identified.
Greiert has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
