A mother and daughter made a surprising discovery in North Georgia. They were driving just south of Chattanooga last week when they found a prosthetic leg lying on the side of a road.
Since then they've put out the call on Facebook and posted an ad in the local paper with no luck.
They say when they first saw the leg they did a double take. After a few seconds of debating, they figured they ought to pick the leg up.
Regardless of how it got there, they know somebody relies on it to get around. And it's expensive; a prosthetic limb can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000.
