A former Knox County inmate is facing more charges after he asked fellow gang members in a different prison to kill someone who testified against him.
A grand jury indicted 33-year-old Nikos Burgins with one count of solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
Burgins was an inmate in Knox County back in May 2012. He sent a letter to gang members who were serving time in the Morgan County Correctional Facility asking them to kill another inmate.
He said that inmate testified against him during his rape and assault case.
