Four people, including 2 employees are facing charges after gas station robbery

Four people are facing charges in connection with a Kentucky gas station robbery, including two employees who were working at the time of the robbery.

Around 9:15 Sunday evening  Middlesboro Police received a call that a woman with a knife robbed the Circle K gas station on Cumberland Avenue.

Within an hour police had found  the vehicle and the knife used in the robbery and by midnight two people were in custody on robbery charges.

46 year old Sherrie Barnett and 36 year old Carl Turner, both of Middlesboro were arrested.  Barnett was charged with 1st degree robbery and Turner was charges with complicity to commit robbery in the 1st degree.

Evidence seized during the robbery also led to the arrests of the two Circle K employees working at the time of the robbery.

35 year old Lisa Evans and 40 year old Michael Evans were charged with Facilitation of Robbery in the 1st degree.
