No students injured in Cumberland Co. school bus crash

(WBIR-Cumberland County) Authorities responded to a two vehicle crash involving a school bus in Cumberland County Thursday morning.

Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash happened on US Hwy 127 at Hwy 28 near the Old Cumberland General Store.  Dispatchers got the call at about 8 a.m. EST.

Cumberland County Schools Superintendent Donald Andrews said the bus was transporting students to Homestead Elementary and Stone Memorial High School. 

Andrews said the students and driver weren't injured in the crash.  A Cumberland County dispatcher said people in the other vehicle only sustained minor injuries.

Officials allowed the bus to continue the route to school.

THP and Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash.
