(WBIR - Knoxville) Police arrested 32-year-old Jason Brown on Wednesday, saying he's the person who robbed a West Knoxville credit union over the weekend.
The robbery happened Saturday at a West Knoxville ORNL Federal Credit Union. Police say Brown threatened he had a bomb during the robbery.
Police say they arrested Brown on Western Avenue.
A man robbed an ORNL Federal Credit Union in Knoxville Saturday by threatening that he had a bomb.
According to the FBI the man entered the credit union on Kingston Pike at 11:05 a.m. and demanded money.
After obtaining money he fled the scene, leaving a package.
The KPD Explosive Ordinance Disposal team determined that the package was a hoax device.
A reward is being offered for any information which leads to the arrest.
