Country star Randy Travis will be releasing a new album despite recently suffering a stroke reports NBC Nashville affiliate WSMV.
Travis' public relations firm announced Tuesday that Travis' album, titled Influence Volume 1: The Man I Am, will go on sale Oct. 1.
It's not clear when Travis recorded the tracks.
The multi-platinum artist suffered heart failure and a stroke in July and was last reported to be receiving treatment in a rehab facility in Texas.
Travis has been trying to get career back on track following arrests for drunken driving and assault.
