Bacon wrapped water chestnuts, prepared by Betty Henry from Henry's Deli on August 27, 2013.
1 lb bacon
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 cup ketchup
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili sauce
Partially cook bacon, either in the oven on a sheet pan, or in a skillet.
While bacon is cooking, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and chili sauce together in a small kettle.
Heat until sugar dissolves.
Take water chestnuts, wrap in half a piece of bacon, and secure with a toothpick.
Dunk in sauce and place in a pan.
Place pan in 375 oven for 30 min
