Suspect arrested in connection with Enrichment Credit Union robbery

(WBIR-Knoxville) Clinton police arrested 38-year-old Charles Harmon on Wednesday in connection with the Tuesday burglary of the Enrichment Credit Union on Merchants Drive.

The FBI says authorities from several agencies helped track the suspect down and arrest him.

Harmon is expected to appear in court on Thursday.

Knoxville Police and the FBI are asking for the public's help in tracking down the man who robbed a north Knoxville bank on Tuesday.

Investigators say the man came into the Enrichment Federal Credit Union at 5201 Schubert Road around 4:00 pm.  He handed an employee a note demanding money.  After he got it, he fled the bank on foot, heading in the direction of the nearby McDonalds.

The suspect is described as:
• White Male
• Age: late 30's to early 40's
• Weight: approximately 300 pounds
• Height: approximately 6'
• Unshaven, with a goatee
• Wearing a dark t-shirt, blue jeans, and a tan ball cap over a long brown wig.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751, or KPD at 865-215-7212. A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of this individual.
