Deputies search for Bread Box armed robber

(WBIR-West Knox County) Knox County detectives are searching for man who robbed a West Knox County convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday morning.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, no one was injured in the armed robbery that happened shortly before 7 a.m. at the Bread Box on 1606 Lovell Road.

The suspect walked into the store wearing a dark ski mask and yellow rubber gloves and waved a handgun, demanding money from the clerk. He put the cash in his backpack and fled on foot.

Witness described the victim as a white male in his mid-20s to 30s. He is 5'7" - 5'11" tall and weighs 135-160 pounds.
