East TN child alert canceled after missing Ohio teen found safely

An Endangered Child Alert has been issued for East Tennessee in connection with an Ohio Amber Alert.

A missing teen has been located safely following an Ohio Amber Alert and Endangered Child Alert in East Tennessee. 

Authorities say Robin Roberts, 15, was taken from Brunswick, Ohio, Monday evening by her noncustodial father, William C. Roberts. He is a registered sex offender, has a drug history, and is known to use meth. 

 

The two were located Tuesday afternoon in Northern Ohio.

An Endangered Child Alert has been issued for East Tennessee in connection with an Ohio Amber Alert.

Authorities say Robin Roberts, 15, was taken from Brunswick, Ohio, Monday evening by her noncustodial father, William C. Roberts. He is a registered sex offender, has a drug history, and is known to use meth. 

William Roberts has family in East Tennessee and used to live in Greeneville. He is 5'11" tall, 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

They are believed to be traveling in a black Ford Ranger with Ohio license PJL4802. Authorities believe the license plates were taken from a different vehicle.
