KNOX COUNTY - The Knox County Sheriff's office arrested three people for burglarizing restaurants earlier this month.
Lexis Mello, 21, of Corryton, and Joshua Tricsli, 21, of Knoxville, were taken into custody Monday and Jordan Surber, 26, of Knoxville was arrested on Tuesday. They're accused of burglarizing two Twisters restaurants on April 2. The restaurants are located at 5831 Washington Pike and 6121 Tazewell Pike.
The arrests come after KCSO detectives opened an investigation into the burglaries.
Mello is charged with two counts of burglary and will be help at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a $10,000 bond.
Tricsli is charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of theft, and two counts of burglary. He also had an outstanding assault warrant at the time of his arrest. He is being held at the same facility on a $28,500 bond. Tricsli also has a history in Knox County that includes identity theft, unauthorized use of a credit or debit card, theft, burglary, attempted burglary and narcotics.
Surber is charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of theft, and two counts of burglary. He is being held at the same facility on a $27,000 bond. Surber's criminal history in Knox County includes theft, burglary, drugs, evading arrest, resisting and criminal impersonation.
