The Knox County Sheriff's Office broke up a marijuana grow operation Friday afternoon in a West Knox County house.
Using a search warrant, authorities seized 15,000 pounds of dried pot as well as 60 plants growing in the house at 11024 Thornton Drive. They found more plants in a 30-foot "enclosed trailer," according to a Sheriff's Office release.
No one was home at the time. The investigation continues, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies also took several handguns and long guns as well as $15,000 in cash.
"Charges will be filed on completion of the investigation," according to the Sheriff's Office.
