Knoxville man added to TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list

A Knoxville man is the latest addition to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top Ten Most Wanted list.

When the jury returned to give their guilty verdict, Hinton, who was out on bond, had disappeared.

Hinton was accused of shooting David Williams in August 2012. He hit Williams in the shoulder, then fired the gun at him several more times as the victim tried to escape.

Hinton's last known address is 1308 Maryland Avenue in Knoxville.

He is described as an African American male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has a scar on his face and his right hand.

Hinton has a criminal history of burglary, assaulting a police officer and various traffic charges.

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
