Investigators with the Knoxville Police Department hope the public can help them solve the murder of a man found shot to death in a vehicle.
KPD was called to Fairfax Avenue on Saturday to check out a vehicle stopped in the road.
They found Benjamin Jernigan, 29, dead inside the vehicle, and have determined his death was a homicide.
Investigators are trying to retrace his steps prior to being killed. If anyone has any information on where he may have been between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on October 8, they'd like to hear from you.
