KSCO looking for suspect who robbed Weigels at gunpoint

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said a man robbed a Weigel's employee at gunpoint Friday night.

KCSO said in a release the suspect entered the business located at 12640 Kingston Pike just before 11:00 p.m., pointed a gun at the employee, and demanded cash from the register.

KCSO said the employee handed over the cash and then the suspect fled westbound.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 18-25 years old, 5'5", and 140-160 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a blue t-shirt, blue shorts, black shoes, and a toboggan at the time of the robbery.
