Man pleads to 17 counts of felony tax evasion

A Knoxville man pleaded guilty to nearly 20 charges Tuesday having to do with tax evasion.

The owner of the Greeneville store Kiker's Tobacco Outlet, William Justin Wyatt, pleaded guilty to 17 counts of felony sales tax evasion among other charges.

The 34-year-old was sentenced to six years of supervised probation and will pay more than $65,000 he owes the state.
