Authorities say the suspect wanted in the killing of a South Carolina man who testified recently in a federal drug trial has been arrested in Tennessee.
Anderson County, S.C., deputies said in a news release that federal marshals found Bruce Bell in Knoxville early Thursday and took him into custody. He is being held in Knox County on a fugitive from justice warrant.
Authorities say Bell shot and killed Walter Lee last week at his auto-detailing business in Anderson.
Lee was among 21 people indicted in March 2015 after a five-year investigation found $1.5 million and 220 pounds of cocaine. Lee testified against two others in the case.
Authorities say they are trying to determine if Lee's testimony led to his death.
It wasn't known if Bell had a lawyer or when an extradition hearing might be held.
