Police: Teens attacked Opry Mills clerk with bleach

Police are searching for a teenager accused of throwing bleach at an Opry Mills saleswoman.

Stalita Megna, 19, is wanted on counts of aggravated assault and vandalism for throwing bleach at Carter's saleswoman Nicole Kelly in May.

According to court documents, Megna and Lakisha R. Frierson came into the children's clothing store on the evening of May 31 with a disposable cup filled with bleach. They began fighting with Kelly, and Megna is accused of dousing Kelly's face and nearby merchandise with bleach.

Kelly was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for burns on her face and chest, records said. The bleach also damaged 319 pieces of merchandise, worth about $4,350.

Kelly helped to identify Frierson as a suspect through social media. Frierson, 19, was arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault and vandalism.

Police urge anyone who knows Megna's whereabouts to call 615-862-8600.
