Prescription pill sales prompt closure of home under nuisance law

Knoxville police shut down a North Knoxville home because of several incidents of prescription pill sales.

The home is on Vermont Avenue in North Knoxville. The District Attorney General's Office says the home was a haven for criminal activity and he ordered to shut it down under the nuisance law.

Investigators say problems with the house started in February 2010. Just in the past three months, police say they've had undercover agents buy prescription drugs five separate times.
