Two Scott County Jail inmates are facing new charges after officials say they were caught digging a potential escape route in a wall.
Lilly Sue Murray and Tonya Ferrier were charged with destruction of county property.
According to the Scott County Sheriff's Office, a deputy said he heard someone digging into the wall from inside the maintenance room last Friday.
Another deputy went to check the women's side of the jail and found Ferrier digging into the wall with a piece of metal.
The deputy says Murray had another piece of metal.
