Sevierville man from TBI's Most Wanted captured in Hamblen Co.

Update: July 31

Two days after being added to TBI's Top Ten Most Wanted List, Nathan McCollum has been captured in Hamblen County.

Investigators say he was located through routine investigative measures in Morristown and was taken into custody without incident.

He is being held in the Sevier County Jail without bond.

A Sevierville man is the latest addition to the the TBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Nathan McCollum, 31, is wanted for a violation of probation for attempted aggravated kidnapping, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, violation of an order of protection, several counts of theft and traffic charges.

On July 13, McCollum removed his GPS monitor after being discharged from a drug treatment program in Bessemer, Alabama. On July 14th, authorities located his GPS monitor in Chattanooga.

McCollum's last known address is 4267 Tatem Marr Way in Sevierville. He is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 6 foot 5 inches tall and weighs about 245 pounds. He has tattoos on his face, neck, both arms and legs as well as his back and chest.

Anyone with information on McCollum is urged to call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463) or TDOC at 1-844-TDC-FIND (1-844-832-3463. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
