Sex offender's parole violation leads to meth lab discovery

Sevier County sheriff's deputies arrested two men after they say they found them in a meth lab.

According to deputies, they found 28-year-old Garth King and 22-year-old Steven Sheppard in the home after responding to King's parole violation.

The officers say they found a meth lab in the kitchen, and several other items used to make meth in the home. Both face meth-related charges.

King was on parole for a rape charge and is on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.
