Vandals set fires at Athens city park

ATHENS, TENN. - Vandals struck an Athens city park overnight.

According to WRCB, a large metal garbage can next to a picnic pavilion and some toilet paper was set on fire in the restrooms at Heritage Park, though the fire did not spread to any of the buildings.

"We seldom have any trouble," said Parks & Recreation Director Austin Fesmire.

The incident is being investigated as arson.
