A woman who says she was wrongfully arrested because of a mistake made by the Knox County Criminal Court Clerk's Office is no longer suing the county.
Jodi Denise White sued Knox County for $50-thousand dollars in damages. White spent 31 hours in jail last year, after she says authorities arrested her on a violation of probation warrant more than a year after she completed the probation.
Last year, a 10News investigation revealed systematic problems inside Joy McCroskey's office that led to wrongful arrests and cases set aside due to error.
On Friday, a judge approved a request from White to voluntarily dismiss the case.
White can file a lawsuit again at the state level later, if she chooses.
McCroskey chose not to run for re-election
