We saw a big spike in gas prices in the past few days.

Knoxville's average is up 7 cents to $3.64 a gallon of regular.

Nationwide, prices rose 5 cents.

The jump comes after Hurricane Isaac forced several Gulf Coast oil refineries to close or cut production.
