#10Thankful: What are you thankful for?

Nov. 24, 2016: It's that time of the year when people think about the most important things in their lives. We hit the streets of downtown Knoxville to see what people are most thankful for this year.

KNOXVILLE - Family, friends, peace.

Those are just a few of things people told us they were grateful for this Thanksgiving holiday.

10news hit the streets of downtown Knoxville Thursday afternoon to hear what people were thankful for and why.

"Family, friends and the love and joy brought by them," said Parker Fulton. "The fact that I get to wakeup everyday and see them and know that I have family and friends that have my back."

Family and friends was the most common response we heard from people.

"Good friends and good people in the city," said Alan Sims, "One of the things that surprising to a lot of people in downtown Knoxville is how friendly the people are how many people you get to know so quickly."

We would love to hear what you're thankful for, share your response with us by using #10thankful
