ALCOA, union reach new labor agreement

The United Steel Workers and ALCOA have reached a new five year labor agreement.

Union workers threatened to go on strike last month over health care and temporary workers. They reached a tentative agreement, and Friday both sides approved it.

The new deal covers 6,100 employees at 10 ALCOA locations across the country.
