American Pickers to film new episodes in Tennessee

Oct. 17, 2016: A popular History Channel show will be filming in Tennessee this winter.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of the popular History Channel show American Pickers plan to return to Tennessee.

Alegra Hueso, a casting associate for Cineflix Productions said the show plans to film episodes for its upcoming season in Tennessee and North Carolina in November and December, and the production is currently searching for leads in the area.

Hueso said Cineflix is looking for people with a "private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through."

The documentary series follows Wolfe and Fritz as they search through the old, forgotten junk hoards of America hoping to "pick" valuable and historic antiques.

"Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before," said Hueso in a news release. "They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them."

Wolfe opened a second location of his LeClaire, Iowa, based business Antique Archaeology in Nashville in 2011.

If you or someone you know has a collection you think Wolfe and Fritz would like to see, email americanpickers@cineflix.com with your name, phone number, location and a description of the collection with photos, or call 855-OLD-RUST (855-653-7878).
