Corker reflects on VW and union vote

Senator Bob Corker says talks over unionizing the Chattanooga's Volkswagen plant earlier this year were surrounded by misunderstandings.

The Republican lawmaker made a push against the United Auto Workers union.

In a speech in middle Tennessee, Corker said there was "no way" the German automaker would have picked Chattanooga for the $600 million expansion had workers decided to join the union.

Last month, Volkswagen announced the plant would build its new Crossblue SUV. The senator did say his push against the union created some hard feelings.
