PIGEON FORGE - From Hollywood to Dollywood, the red carpet rolled out in East Tennessee Tuesday for the premiere of Dolly Parton’s new movie "Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love."
Dolly, her family, cast and crew members gathered together inside the Showstreet Palace Theater at Dollywood to watch their hard work come to life.
“It was so fun to have my brothers and sister who were here stand here with the little actors that played their parts, so the kids got a kick out of that and my brothers and sister did too,” said Parton.
With all the glitz and glam of a big city, Sevier County’s sweetheart transformed the hills of East Tennessee to Hollywood.
Hundreds of fans watched the red carpet arrivals. Among the actors was Jennifer Nettles who is reprising her role as Dolly’s mother.
"It is a sacred thing the mother-child relationship, and I wanted to be able to do it justice and make her proud,” said Nettles.

The sequels follows after Parton's 2015 movie "Coat of Many Colors," introducing several new stories, all real from Dolly’s childhood.
"It’s a more deep story, about the spirit of Christmas,” said Parton, “And love and miracles. It’s wonderful.”
"I think we've done a really good job of transporting people back to a time that was much simpler and kinder,” said Executive Producer Sam Haskell. "I believe a story of faith and hope and sacrifice will touch a lot of hearts.”
Dolly is also hopeful this film will be encouraging to all during a time of divisiveness in our country.
"I'm not big on politics, I think we are a wonderful county, we are going to be fine,” said Parton. “Evidently we needed a change and hopefully it will be a change for the better. I think everything’s going to be fine, I’m looking for a happy New Year.”
The busy week continues for Dolly Parton she’s leaving the chilly weather behind and headed to Tampa, Florida for her next concert Saturday.
