'Battle at Cumberland Avenue' runs through Friday

The Battle at Cumberland scavenger hunt started Tuesday morning.

KNOXVILLE - The Battle at Bristol inspired a Knoxville scavenger hunt in preparation to Saturday’s big game between Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

The Battle at Cumberland Avenue Scavenger Hunt began Tuesday morning.

Teams can still register for the photo scavenger hunt to win prizes worth thousands of dollars. Teams are assigned a number after registration.

Each team requires a minimum of two people, and there is no size limit for teams.

Organizers of the scavenger hunt said around 40 teams have signed up as of Wednesday morning.

Once a team is registered, participants must take photos worth different amounts of points, which is the outlined in the scavenger hunt’s list. The photos should then get posted to social media with #Battle(Team Number).

The teams with the most points are awarded prizes. The first-place prize is two bicycles from Regions Bank ($500 value) and $2,000 in merchant gift cards. Runners-up gift packages are valued at $1,500 and $1,000.

The scavenger hunt ends at 10 p.m. Friday.
