Judge Bill Swann won't seek reelection

A Knox County judge says he will not seek a fifth term in office.

Judge Bill Swann has served on the Fourth Circuit Court bench since 1982. His eight-year term ends next August.

Judge Swann handles divorce and child custody cases, as well as order of protection requests.

Judge Swann tells 10News he has several options for the future, but he hasn't yet decided what he will do after leaving the bench. He says he will serve as a part-time judge when needed after his term ends.
