(WBIR-Knoxville) Police released the name of the man who was killed in a three-car crash overnight Sunday on I-40 W near downtown Knoxville.
The wreck happened between James White Parkway, near the I-275 northbound ramp, just after 1 a.m.
According to a KPD release, Jose Jesus Guzman-Torres, 26, of Morristown was driving the wrong way on I-40 and struck a 2005 Toyota Scion carrying two people. A Volkswagen, also carrying two people, was traveling west on I-40 as well and ran into the Saturn after the initial crash.
Crews drove four people, traveling in the Toyota Scion and Volkswagen, to UT Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life injuries.
Investigators said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

According to a KPD release, a Saturn was traveling the wrong way on the interstate, struck a car head-on. Next, a third car crashed into the Saturn. Officials said the Saturn's driver died at the scene of the crash. Crews drove four people, traveling in the other two cars, to UT Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Officials aren't releasing the identities of the victims until their families are notified.
Investigators were at the scene of the crash for hours, reconstructing what happened. As of early Sunday morning, they reopened all lanes.
