Rain won't stop Knoxville's Christmas Parade

Knoxville's annual Christmas parade will march on Friday night, despite the expected rain.

The 41st annual WIVK Christmas Parade kicks off in Downtown Knoxville at 7:00. More than forty floats, bands, and Santa Claus himself are expected to take part.

The parade will start at the Civic Coliseum, then taken Howard Baker Jr. to Church Street, turn right onto Gay Street, then right onto Jackson Ave.

Spectators should bring their rain gear!

You can park at garages on State Street, Locust Street, Dwight Kessell, and Market Square.

Other cities aren't as lucky. Nasvhille's Christmas parade, scheduled for Friday night, was canceled. It will not be rescheduled. Harriman also canceled their parade.
