10 About Town 7/31 - 8/3

If you haven't caught Shakespeare on the Square yet you're missing out. The plays Much Ado About Nothing and Titus Andronicus will be on display through Sunday. Shows start at 7:00 pm on Market Square.

Take a trip back in time with 1964 "The Tribute" at the Tennessee Theatre on Friday. It's one of the best Beatle cover bands you'll ever hear. Show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $27.

Also Friday, head to Market Square for the Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash and Fundraiser. Preservation Pub and Scruffy City Hall will have musical acts playing classics from the Garcia starting at 10:00 pm.

The 28th Annual Lonsdale Homecoming starts Friday and runs through Sunday. Live entertainment, food and games will be on hand for some fun for the entire family. The event takes place at the Sam E. Hill School grounds.

All things robotic will be in motion in the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park on Saturday. The Robotics Revolution will feature engineers, competitive teams and of course robots. The event goes from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

If you can't sleep Saturday night, throw on some running shoes and head to the Pigeon Forge Midnight 8k Road Race. It's a unique late night race through the heart of Pigeon Forge. The run starts at 11:59 pm.

We wind down the way we started with a trip to the theatre. The Clayton Center's 4th Annual Theatre Festival will host numerous performances through Sunday along with fun free activities for the whole family.
