(WBIR) A fire damaged a manufacturing plant in Greeneville.
The fire broke out at the Parker Hannifin Plant on Snapps Ferry Road at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Greeneville police said large transformers on the side of the building caught fire, leaking oil and creating think black smoke and heavy flames. Employees inside managed to get out of the plant safely and no one was hurt.
Damage was limited to the medal skin of the building.
