Woman charged with child endangerment after Christmas DUI

A Hamblen County woman has been charged with child endangerment after she was arrested for DUI Christmas morning.

Hamblen County deputies arrested 34-year-old Brights Pike resident Michelle Epps after they found her vehicle wrecked on the side of the road.

Wednesday, she was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to provide insurance and failure to exercise due care. Thursday, Morristown Police added a childhood endangerment charge.

Epps is being held on a $7,500 in Hamblen County.
