Helen Ross McNabb Runaway Shelter closing for funding reasons

The Helen Ross McNabb Runaway Shelter is closing its doors.

The group said it doesn't have enough funding to keep the actual shelter open, but will still provide other services including runaway prevention, crisis intervention and counseling services for runaway and homeless teens from 12 to 18 years old.

The organization said it doesn't have enough funding to keep the physical shelter in business.

It will close at the end of September.
