Junction 33 celebrates its grand opening

There's a new place in West Knoxville if you've got a craving for some burgers and beers.

Junction 33 officially opened Wednesday on Northshore Drive where Tin Roof used to be. It's named after the year when beer cans were first mass produced, 1933.

The bar and restaurant offers 50 different types of canned beers, as well as drafts, milkshakes and plenty of other food.

"Our thing is burgers and beers. We have locally sourced burgers that are our own mixture, just Junction 33 nobody has the same. So we have a couple specialties as well as a make-your-own burger," said General Manager Lindsey Robbins.

Junction 33 plans to be open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. But, you have to be 21 and up after 10 p.m. to get in.
