No students hurt when car crashed into Knox Co. bus

CORRYTON - Four Gibbs High School students are okay after a Knox County School bus crash on Friday morning.

Knox County Schools spokesperson Carly Harrington said there were no injuries when a car hit the school bus No. 108 on Tazewell Pike near Ole Tazewell Park around 8:18 a.m. Friday.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said authorities cited the driver of the blue Hyundai that crashed into front left corner panel of the bus.

KCSO said another bus took three of the four students to school, and a parent picked up the other student.
