A Roane County community turned out in droves for a Labor Day tradition.
Folks enjoyed some dancing, and even bouncing, at the 26th annual Hooray for Harriman celebration.
The town blocks off a stretch of US Highway 27 through downtown every year for the big street party. The fun includes plenty of food vendors, music, hot rods and Gospel singing inside the Princess Theater.
Organizers say bringing crowds downtown will help revitalize the city.
"Back in the days, you can look at the older pictures... people up and down the street all day long," said Randy Ellis, event director. "Hopefully we're on our way back to those days."
The event wraps up Monday night with the Rumble on Roane Street Tennessee mountain wrestling matches.
