KY officers arrest man after finding "Betty" and "Sue" marijuana

(WBIR- Whitley County, KY) Sheriffs deputies arrested a Whitley County man after discovering several large bags of "Betty" and "Sue" marijuana in his home.

Joshua C. Singletary, 35, of Williamsburg, admitted the marijuana was his, according to officials. The drug bags were in a large, black, garbage-style bag in his home on Tackett Creek Rd.

Deputies said the bags were marked "Betty" and "Sue to identify which plants the marijuana came from.

Singletary was arrested and charged with first-offense trafficking in marijuana.

Whitley County officials said deputies were originally called out to the house Friday night around 9:45, where neighbors were arguing. Deputies were told Singletary was growing marijuana inside the home, which prompted the search.
