Momtrepreneur juggles her family and a business

May 11, 2017:

A normal day for Erica Warmack would be spent picking strawberries with her kids, maintaining a relationship with her husband and running her own small business.

“It was just a hobby I turned into a business,” Warmack said.

A few months ago, Erica decided to turn her love of wood working and home decor into a small business called Leap of Faith Designs.

“I decided to take a leap of faith and step out and sell things on the side to decorate our house or give for presents,” Erica said.

Her inventory includes tables, planters, signs and pictures that can be found in almost every room of her house. Erica said while it may sound stressful, raising kids and running a business comes easier than you think.

“To be a mom and sell things on the side is rewarding. My kids like to go down and help me in the workshop,” she said.

Warmack said if you’re a mom and you want to start your own business, don’t be scared.

“Don’t be afraid to step out and take a leap of faith like I did,” she said.
