Man killed, children hurt in Greeneville crash

GREENEVILLE - A Chuckey, Tenn., man was killed and his two children were injured Thursday following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 70 in Greeneville.

A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said a pickup truck driven by Michael O. Edwards, 27, was traveling northbound when the truck went into a ditch, continued up an embankment, rolled over, then continued to slide into the path of another truck driven by Jeffery Ray Rash, 52, of Bristol, Tenn.

Edwards' two daughters, ages 3 and 5, were injured in the wreck, according to the THP.

Rash was also injured due to the impact.
