GREENBACK - One of the area's most popular fall attractions has unveiled its corn maze this year, and it honors the man who helped start the tradition.
Robert Schmidt, known to many as Farmer Bob, died in April at the age of 59. He was one of the founders of Maple Lane Farms in Greenback.
Every year, the farm hosts a number of fall events, including the popular corn maze. This year, its creators honored Farmer Bob and Fred the Dog in its design. You can see them outlined in the maze, along with the words, "In Loving Memory" and "Farmer Dog 1956-2016."
The ten acre corn maze is open from September 30 - October 30, and will be haunted starting October 21. They also have a pumpkin patch, hayrides, and kids activities. Visit their website for more information.
