Alcoa Police are looking for more possible victims of a man accused of groping a teenage girl at a local restaurant.

According to Detective Kris Sanders, the man, who is in his 60's approached a 16-year-old girl who was seated alone at the Panera Bread in Alcoa last Friday night. He sat across from her and asked her questions about her age, whether she was in high school or college, and if she had a boyfriend.

When he learned she was 16, the girl told investigators that the man moved over to sit beside her and placed his hand on her thigh. He began patting, rubbing, and squeezing, moving towards her groin area.

An employee noticed that the girl appeared to be in distress, and approached the pair. The man quickly left the store.

When the incident was reported, Sanders said, investigators learned this was not an isolated incident, and that there were other victims.

The man was identified and a photo was obtained, but the man has not been charged. 10News will not identify the man unless he is charged.

Sanders said they are currently interviewing victims and building their case. He said at this point, there are fewer than 10 victims, with the majority of the incidents happening at the Panera. There were a few incidents outside the city of Alcoa.
