Morristown apartment fire displaces 25

MORRISTOWN - A Saturday morning apartment fire has left 25 people without a home.

Just after 9:30 on Saturday morning, crews were called to the 1600 hundred block of Panther Creek in Morristown. There, crews found a five unit apartment complex completely engulfed in flames. Fire was coming from the front and roof areas of the complex. 

All four Hamblen county volunteer fire departments alone with Kansas Talbott volunteer, and Morristown city firefighters battled the flames. 

The fire displaced 25 people; all of whom are receiving help from the Red Cross.

No cause has been determined for the fire.

No word yet on if anyone was harmed.
